Vita

Ingo Haltermann studied Geography, Political Science and Ecology at the University of Münster. His Diploma-Thesis dealt with the African Unions impact on political and institutional development. After passing his diploma he attended a post-graduate study of Peace and Conflict at the FernUni Hagen.

Since 2009 Ingo Haltermann is a research fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities (KWI) in Essen, where he focuses on the memories of disasters in Accra/Ghana as a part of the KWI's Climate and Culture program.
